Fiber-to-Fiber Isolators

DPM Photonics offers a large selection of Polarization Insensitive Fiber to Fiber Isolators. These devices can handle powers between 300 mW and 20W and have center operating wavelengths ranging from 850 nm to 1550 nm. Standard pigtail fiber is Hi1060 or SMF-28e, with exception of the device operating at 850 nm (Hi780). Dual stage versions are offered for low and high power models. Miniature devices are also offered (as small as 22 mm device length) with single and twin isolator configurations.

This product line is Telcordia qualified. Some Telcordia qualification data (PDF download) is provided (GR-1221-CORE, ISSUE 2) for a 1064 nm fiber to fiber isolator with maximum power handling of 20W. Excellent product stability is observed, via minimal changes in key isolator parameters, over 2000 hours of damp heat testing (85C, 85% RH) and temperature cycling over 500 cycles.
