Polarization Maintaining Fiber-Based Components

PM Optical Circulators

Polarization Maintaining (PM) Optical Circulators are essentially isolators that re-direct isolated light to an additional fiber port. Thus, they provide isolation but allow the user access to the rejected light normally lost within a traditional optical isolator. Their unique properties make them advantageous components for use in telecommunication systems, instrumentation and specialized experiments.

DPM Photonics offers standard PM fiber circulators at 1064 nm, 1310 nm, and 1550 nm. These devices come in 3-port and 4-port configurations and can handle high powers (up to 500 mW).

This product line is Telcordia qualified.

If you do not see a PM fiber circulator from the standard configurations that meets your needs, we welcome the opportunity to review your desired specification and quote a custom circulator.
